Hope Arellano / Polo

Hope is a fourth generation polo player, and is the youngest woman to ever win the Women’s U.S. Open in 2017 at the age of 14. Her most memorable tournament is the Pete Bostwick Memorial in 2016, where she rode alongside her father Julio Arellano, and her two brothers. They were a 10-goal team in a 12-goal tournament.

There are many good qualities in polo but Hope’s favorite thing is the horses.

I have been fortunate enough to have been brought up around all kinds of animals for as long as I can remember and taught by my parents how to love all animals. That is why I am so pleased to be an ambassador for Brooke USA. I really look forward to being a part of helping Brooke USA better the welfare of working equines. What I find most incredible about Brooke USA is that they help not only financially but they educate the owners of these working horses. donkeys and mules.
