As 2022 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to say Thank You for your support. It is through you that Brooke USA has been able to help those who desperately need it – horses being sold and traded across India’s equine fairs, riders and their horses stranded in the Ukraine, donkeys and their owners affected by the floods in Pakistan, women securing water for their family in Ethiopia, and families and their animals working in the brick kilns of India. And, of course, we cannot forget our own efforts in the United States toward combating the donkey hide trade in Congress. We made all this possible thanks to you and certainly, we ensured that HOPE was never lost.
During the Holidays and with the coming of a New Year, the humans, and animals we serve remind us that HOPE for the future is really what our work is about. All the families we help share a common HOPE – food security, access to water, a means to education, and better living conditions. We make their hopes a reality through improved equine health and welfare.
Over the past few years, Brooke USA has witnessed incredible transformations in the lives of over two million working equines and 12 million people. Unfortunately, even now, the circumstances surrounding those living in the developing world are unimaginable. However, there is HOPE! Brooke USA offers sustainable programs to the Global South’s most vulnerable populations because of donors and supporters like you.
