Paint Wellington Orange

Thank You For An Amazing Inaugural Paint Wellington Orange!

Brooke USA officially kicked off its exciting, new initiative, "Paint Wellington Orange," on Feb. 22, and with two fundraising events completed and many more to come this season, the initiative is already the talk of the town.

The color orange symbolizes Brooke USA's vision of a world in which working horses, donkeys and mules are free from suffering. Restaurants and businesses around the Wellington, Florida, community are offering special discounts and donating a portion of their sales to support Brooke USA's funding of equine welfare programs in the developing world. You can support Brooke USA's initiative by shopping, eating or visiting any of their many "Paint Wellington Orange" partners across Wellington!

The next fundraising event of the Brooke USA "Paint Wellington Orange" campaign was held at Don Chepo's Taco Shop on March 7. When guests spent $20, Don Chepo's Taco Shop donated $5 to Brooke USA! On March 13, supporters gathered together to continue the partying with a Soiree in Orange at The Grille Fashion Cuisine.

The month of March also kicked off Brooke USA's month-long benefit at California Pizza Kitchen as well as at 9Round Wellington Trace.

California Pizza Kitchen, located at the Mall at Wellington Green, donated 20 percent of each check to Brooke USA when diners mentioned they were ordering in support of Brooke USA. The benefit raised over $3,000!

In addition, 9Round Wellington Trace, located in the Courtyard Shops at Wellington, launched a Brooke USA Burpee Challenge where members and friends challenged any member or trainer to do a burpee during their workout for each $1 donated!

What better way to make a difference in the lives of working equines around the world than by enjoying delicious food and taking care of yourself with a great workout?

Brooke USA kicked off "Paint Wellington Orange" with a successful Lunch & Learn presentation at the Winter Equestrian Festival on Thursday, Feb. 22, in The Wellington Club during Week Seven of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Fla., which featured a compelling presentation entitled "Global Impact Through Local Kindness: Ensuring Vital Futures for Equines and Their Human Partners."
